What we collect
- What you give us: your name, email, phone number and what you tell us, like your move-in date, the apartment you want, your tour time and your messages. If you take our survey, your answers.
- When you apply: everything on your application, which can include your birth date, Social Security or ITIN number, ID, income and employment, rental history, references and documents. If you add roommates or co-signers, we also get their names and how they’re related to the application.
- From others: listing and rental sites and lead services when you contact us through them; screening companies (consumer reports such as credit, rental and eviction history and criminal records); references, landlords and employers you name; people who add you to an application; our leasing and property management software; and public records.
- Automatically: your device and browser, your IP address and approximate location, the pages you see and the links you click, and how you found us (the site that linked you, and campaign tags or ad codes in the link). We collect some of this with cookies and similar technologies (see below).
- Calls, texts and emails: what you send us, and when. We may record, transcribe or summarize calls and voicemails.
- At our buildings: security cameras in common and outdoor areas, and entry systems.
