What’s become a well-worn phrase is “follow your passion.”
Something that is easier said than done.
For some people, inspiration comes easy. It appears as if inspiration strikes them and suddenly, they know what they should be doing with their lives. Meanwhile, it takes a lot of work for others.
Let me ask you this, what topic could you read hundreds of books on and never get bored?
Or, what could you see yourself doing for a few years without getting paid?
If you had financial abundance to do anything, what would you spend your time doing?
In a world of inspirational podcasts, books, and TED Talks, what you’re passionate about doesn’t have to be work related. Of course, it helps if you can find something about your job that you like and if you can make profit off of it that’s even better.
Passion is an emotion that motivates. To be motivated, one first needs to care.
Find something that you love and do it simply because you want to. With passion comes happiness – the only thing that matters is that you enjoy doing what you do.
